Liturgical Ministries
Altar Linen Ministry
This is a behind-the-scenes ministries. There are those who faithfully take the soiled linens home to carefuly wash and iron. Every week there is an average of 30 purificators, as well as other linens that are used at the Altar of the Lord that need washed and ironed.
Altar Servers
Altar servers play a key role in the celebration of Mass. People of all ages are welcome and needed to serve in this ministry! Training provided. Adults are also needed to promote this valuable service, coordinate the servers, and help with training sessions.
Art & Environment
Do you have a flair for seasonal and special-occasion decorating? Do you have 2 hours per week to care for plants used in decorating the church for all occasions? This committee needs people who can make and assemble banners, decorate and un-decorate trees, and much more, all of which enhances our worship space as liturgy requires. You will be called as needed, to let your talents shine!
Audio Visual Volunteers
If you like to fiddle with the EQ settings on your iPhone/iPad or you are more interested in speakers and lights than the performer at a concert, you would enjoy the AV Team. Responsibilities include running the slides for Mass and mixing sounds for our musical groups. Both high school aged youth and adults are welcome. Training will be provided and we would love to have you.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary ministers assist in distributing the Eucharist at Mass. Diocesan Training is provided several times a year. The following are the main requirements that should be met in order to serve as a Extraordinary Minister:
- Adults & Confirmed Youth who are registered members of the Parish.
- Fully initiated in the Church, having received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
- Background Screening & Safe Environment Training
- Pastor Approval & Diocesan Training
