As Catholic Christians, we believe and accept that all we have is given to us as a gift from God. Our response in faith is to offer the first fruits of those gifts back to God in gratitude. It is important for all Catholics to approach stewardship of their financial resources with the understanding that giving should be planned, proportionate, and sacrificial.
It is also one of the Precepts of the Catholic Church to provide for the temporal needs of the Church. Our Parish is dependent upon offertory giving each week in order to fund the facilities and resources to provide a place for the community to worship, to support the many ministries of the parish, and to support our outreach efforts.
Our Diocese, through the annual Our Catholic Appeal is also dependent on the generous giving of parishioners across the Diocese of Orlando to sustain the various diocesan support functions and ministries from which our parish benefits.
